Identification based on one photo (no clear view of the lure and esca) it is either a A. nummifer or A. coccineus. These two are very difficult to tell apart, because the easiest distinguishing point is the absence of a distinct caudal peduncle (= lacks tail base: the dorsal and anal fin end right at the base of the tail) in A. coccineus. On the photo I can't make out a distinct tail base so I identify it as A. coccineus.

A. nummifer also has a quite distinguished spot on the side (thus the name "coinbearing frogfish) and a patch on the back, both can't be seen on the frogfish on the photo.

Identifikation basiert auf diesem einem Foto. Die Angel und der Köder sind nicht klar erkennbar, es ist entweder A. nummifer oder A. coccineus. Diese zwei Anglerfisch-Arten sind von einander nur schwer zu unterscheiden, Antennarius coccineus hat aber einen kurzen Schwanzansatz, den ich auf dem Fotos so einschätze.

A. nummifer hat auch einen ausgeprägten Flecken auf dem Rücken, aus diesem Grund auch der deutsche Namen "Rückenfleck-Anglerfisch". Ausserdem einen runden Fleck auf der Seite, diese zwei Flecken sind beim Anglerfisch auf dem Foto nicht zu sehen.
