Baby frogfishes are very difficult to identify, because their lure - the main pointer to a positive identification is always extreemly small. I have a new camera and now even small lures like the one of this tiny frogfish (not larger than 2cm) come out relatively sharp! I think, it is probably a hispid frogfish.

Baby Anglerfische sind extrem schwierig zu bestimmen, da natürlich ihre Angel - das Hauptkriterium für die Identifikation - ebenfalls sehr klein ist. Mit meiner neuen Kamera kann ich nun auch solche Details fotografieren! Ich denke von der Form der Angel, dass dies ein kleiner Hispid Anglerfisch ist.

Vielen Dank an meinen Tauchführer Kermi, der diesen Winzling (höchstens 2cm) über mehrere Nachttauchgänge immer wieder fand - siehe unten!
