The Clown frogfish likes to life close to sponges, coral rubble and algaes. This frogfish looks similar to the painted frogfish ( A. pictus) but is larger, both belong to the Antennarius pictus group. Typical is the membrane between the second dorsal spine and the warts (her not so pronounced)

Der Warzen-Anglerfisch lebt auf Schwämmen, Korallenschotter und zwischen Algen. Er sieht dem Rundflecken-Anglerfisch ( A. pictus) sehr ähnlich und gehört zur Antennarius pictus Gruppe. Typisch ist der Membrane zwischen dem zweiten Flossenstrahl und die Warzen (hier nicht so ausgeprägt)
