This baby frogfish was identified on the spot, when it started to lure with a rod and a oversized esca shaped like a feather. The lure is normally about twice the size of the second dorsal spine, but with this baby it was about half its height, enormous! I guess it really wanted to catch a fish.

Dieser Baby-Anglerfisch konnte sofort bestimmt werden, da er mit einer langen Angel mit einer Esca, die wie eine Feder geformt war anfing zu angeln. Die Angel ist normalerweise etwas zweimal so land wie der zweite Flossenstrahl, aber bei diesem Baby war er die Esca im Verhältnis enorm gross - es wollte wohl wirklich möglichst schnell etwas zum Fressen fangen!
