This photo shows the typical shape of a painted frogfish. It has a few warts, but not very prominent and usually at least some round spots on the dorsal and ventral fins. This orange color is very common in Lembeh, because it is the same as some sponges who grow here. Often the frogfish hides between these sponges and then is nearly not visible.

Dieses Foto zeigt die typische Form eines Rundflecken-Anglerfisches. Meistens sind einige Wazen erkennbar und er hat immer mindestens einige runde Flecken auf der Rücken- und Schwanzflosse. Die orange Farbe dieses Exemplars ist typisch für Lembeh, da hier viele orange Schwämme wachsen und der Anglerfisch in diesen dann perfekt getarnt sitzen und angeln kann.
