Please notice the dark spots with a lighter circle around them. These seem to mimic the openings (through which the water is passed) of a sponge. With its gray color it is perfectly camouflaged on the dark volcanic sand in Lembeh strait.

Bitte beachte die dunklen Flecken mit den hellerem Gebiet rundherum. Diese Flecken imitieren die Öffnungen von Schwämmen und Seescheiden. Mit seiner grauen Farbe ist dieser Anglerfisch perfekt an den Vulkansand in der Lembeh Strasse angepasst.
