We found this small paperthin brown frogfish (1.5cm) on rubble.

I identified it identified by the white spots: 2 on caudal fin, 1 near upper edge of fin, 1 directly below lower edge, 1 behind eye, 1 above pectoral fin.

Diesen winzigen Anglerfsich (etwa 1.5cm) fanden wir auf Korallenschutt.

Ich identifizierte ihn an den fünf weissen Flecken, die er an ganz bestimmten Stellen auf dem Körper (Schwanz, Seite) hat.

Size: 1.5-2cm
Habitat: Rocky or coral patch reefs, mostly shallow water
Range: West Pacific (Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia) to Hawaii and Easter Islands
