Only three species of the ususal Indo Pacific frogfishes have reached the Eastern Pacific but there are three endemic species (A. avalonis, A. sanguineus and Antennatus strigatus) that are only found here.
Nur zwei der typischen Indopazifischern Anglerfische haben auch den Ost-Pazifik erreicht, dafür leben hier drei endemische Arten (A. avalonis, A. sanguineus und Antennatus strigatus).
