| Rhycherus gloveri (Glover's Frogfish)
is known only to a few ichthyologists. The picture below was first thought to be the better known Rhycherus filamentosus, but a close look at the fishing rod showed, that it is much shorter and the lure is not like a worm but more like a small tuff. Thats why the photographer John Lewis and the Australian Museum identified it as a Glover's Frogfish. |

Rhycherus gloveri (Glover's Anglerfisch)
ist nur Fischkundlern (Ichthyologen) bekannt. Das Foto unten zeigt einen Anglerfisch, der zuerst für Rhycherus filamentosus gehalten wurde. Ein näherer Blick zeigt jedoch, dass die Angel viel kürzer ist und der Köder nicht wurmförmig ist, sondern eher wie ein Büschel aussieht. Der Fotograf John Lewis und das Australische Museum haben es als ein Glover's Anglerfisch identifiziert. |
